According to these requirements, the concrete in the tunnel must be able to withstand an extremely hot fire for at least two hours, but heat tests showed that this was not the case in some parts of the tunnel.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"image\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"660\" height=\"440\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sky-people.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/rope-access-specialists-stadsbaantunnel-utrecht.jpg\" class=\"attachment-full size-full\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sky-people.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/rope-access-specialists-stadsbaantunnel-utrecht.jpg 660w, https:\/\/www.sky-people.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/rope-access-specialists-stadsbaantunnel-utrecht-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\" \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In order to make the tunnel fireproof, we have applied fire-resistant cladding to the walls that can withstand more than 1200 degrees Celsius.
